He spent his first eighteen years growing up on Long Island, NY, and then moved to Virginia and James Madison University. There he met his wife of thirty six years, Pam, the mother of their two children and currently five grandchildren. And Pam is also a Realtor with NC Coastal Living.  
 
After eight years of working in the world of credit and revenue management, he made the transition to sales as an executive recruiter in the Information Technology arena. Three years later he opened up his own firm, and over the next twenty years, developed it into a national leader in the area of mid-range systems in executive search and contract computer consulting services.
 
Brian originally received his real estate license in 1986 and over the years he has recognized the similarities between recruiting and being a Realtor. This has made for a smooth transition over the past ten years for he and his wife in being a leader in real estate sales in planned communities along the Route 211 corridor of Brunswick County such as St James Plantation, Arbor Creek, Palmetto Creek, Mill Creek Cove and Winding River Plantation. Originally, they opened up our own NC Coastal Living and, based on their success, were recruited by a major local developer to develop their resales division.   Brian then spent two years with a large cooperate real estate firm.  Happy to say, they are now successfully back with our own company, NC Coastal Living.  It is a full service real estate firm as well as a fully experienced firm. 
 
Along the way, Brian has always found time to give back to the community, be it volunteering as the Athletic Director at the local parochial school, coaching in the local and regional soccer programs or, after moving to the coast of North Carolina, serving as a volunteer Firefighter, state certified EMT and Assistant Chief for the Town of St James Fire Department. Others have said that “we know the community better than anyone else”, but he probably knows it better than anyone else whether it’s 3PM….. or 3AM when the tones go off!!!
